Safety Towpole (part no. ST20) introduced in 1975 and has been towing vehicles safely since then.
Our latest 'pivot' towpoles (part no. ST20P) are standard equipment of the AA and RAC in vehicle recovery.
There is no need to have a fixed distance between the tow ball on the recovery vehicle and the tow eye on the casualty vehicle.
The Safety Towpole comes with two quick change ends which are adjustable to miss spoilers. A hook end for towing eyes and a swivel joint end for chassis attachment, a quick fit spring hook attachment is available as an optional extra.
The ST20 and ST20P are rated at 2000 kg.
The ST35 and ST35P are rated at 3500kg
Towpoles ranging from 5 ton up to 44 ton are available. (Prices upon request). |

Solomatic 'A' Frames |

The Solomatic one-man tow `A' frame has been nationally adopted by the AA, RAC and many others, it is made from high quality R.H.S. tubing with high tensile components and fully zinc electro-plated.
Folding simply and quickly to fit in the boot of any car the Solomatic one man tow 'A' Frame stays conveniently at hand for use in seconds.
Easily fitted by one man in 3-4 minutes the `A' Frame connects to the lower wishbones or track control arms by a combination of high tensile chains and heavy duty webbing straps. It connects to the recovery vehicle with a 50mm ball coupling as standard or an eye type option is available at no extra cost.
Part no. SA25 is rated at 2500kg which is capable of towing cars and car-derived vans.
part no. SA35 is rated at 3500 for recovering transit size vans.
Part no. SA25B) is rated at 2500kg and has braking.
Safety straps, intermediate extension legs (to overcome the problem of towing cars with exceptionally long overhangs from the front axle to the front of the spoiler), lighting boards with extra length cable and fog light, lighting board straps, powder coating finish, are available as optional extras |

The series 1 trailers are popular with recovery operators and vehicle recovery organisations. They are lightweight,strong, and sturdy, easy to assemble and load due to the tilting runway and are very stable at speed.
They have a payload of 350kg and can carry motorcycles such as the Honda Pan-European ST1100. The trailer features independent suspension, 400x8-6 ply tyres and wheels, and comes complete with ratchet tie down straps.
The trailers are zinc electro plated as standard. A powder coated finish is £15 extra plus V.A.T. |

The "Bike-Loda" motorbike wheel skate is supplied complete with all lashing down straps and has a nylon coated finish. The front wheel cup is fully adjustable to accept anything from the smallest scooter wheel to the largest superbike wheel! Also available as 2 piece stowable.
The BL100S "Bike-Loda" Stand is ideal for use in car parks, motorcycle workshops, or home garages. The unit is secured to the floor with the holes provided, and the bike can be wheeled in and held securely. Supplied complete with strap kit.
Motor cycle tie down straps

The CRT an answer to the problems associated with broken down vehicles which cannot be repaired at the roadside. The CRT when fitted within the rear of a typical medium sized repair van is hidden when not in use. It takes up little space and has minimal effect on the normal operations of the van. |
| The CRT is fitted with suspension as standard. This enables the CRT when used with the motor cycle carrier to operate as other than a towing implement and become a motor cycle recovery trailer. The CRT may also be fitted with an over run brake system designed to provide optimum braking with the lighter LCV's in mind, without affecting the superb handling characteristics of the CRT. |

The CRT deploys quickly and easily using the on board winch, whilst a gas strut simultaneously opens out the drawbar. The winch may be operated by the standard ‘wander’ lead control or a remote control (optional extra).

The trailer continues to deploy automatically onto the road after the wheel pans are opened out. The coupling at the front of the drawbar then positioned over the vehicle pin hitch or ball bracket ready to ‘hitch up’ |

TowMota Lift and Tow |

Operators are discovering the advantages the "Lift and Tow" has to offer over conventional specification frame power lifts. Not least using smaller vehicles than required for spec. Lifts - yet virtually doing the same job, at less cost.
Several hundred "Lift and Tow" units have been in use since it was introduced in 1998. Intertrade have received many repeat orders from satisfied customers for fitment to their other fleet recovery and patrol vehicles. A heavy duty version was introduced in Sept 2001. Motor Cycle Trailer
One Man Operation incorporates a front wheel "bump lock" traversing cradle and forward mounted winch. It is fitted with the larger 3.50x 10 wheels and payload uprated to 500 kg. The front wheel of the bike is pushed into the cradle at ground level, secured and then the cradle and motor cycle are winched up the inclined runway which gently levels off and automatically locks.

Vehicle restraint straps
The Standard System 90 assembly is made up of 50 mm wide heavy duty polyester webbing with a 4 metre working length and a flat snap hook. The specification includes a "spreader strap" and a short handled ratchet buckle with a short fixed strap and flat snap hook. Other end fittings may be fitted to suit any type of transporter bed.
Steering wheel lock straps
Steering wheel "lock straps" for use with car "ambulances", car dollies and spec. lifts. The straps are necessary to keep the front wheels of the casualty vehicle straight.
Lighting board straps
Used in conjunction with two standard foam pads inserted behind the straps. The adjustable straps with cam buckles and nylon coated flat hooks ensure the lighting board can be positioned and held snugly just where it is required without any movement. Price includes 2 straps
